Biographical Sketch:
Krishna M. Akundi (PhD, University of New Orleans) is an economic researcher in the Market Texas Clearinghouse at Texas Economic Development. He has also served as a research fellow to the National Center for the Revitalization of Central Cities (housed at the University of New Orleans). Dr. Akundi earned his B.A. in political science from Louisiana Tech University and his Master's in urban and regional planning from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Akundi's research focuses on identifying economic drivers, industry clusters and their impact on state, regional, and metropolitan economies. He is currently analyzing trends in the growth and concentration of Texas Industry:1982-2000. |
