Selvin Professor of Law at the University of California at Berkeley. As a pioneer in the field of law and economics, he helped found the American Law and Economics Association and served as its President in 1994-1995. He is director of Berkeley’s Law and Economics Program. He is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
