Before joining this college he was served in Alipurduar College (Govt. Sponsored), Alipurduar Court, Jalpaiguri, West Bengal, India. Dr. Amalendu Bhunia obtained first class in his graduation in the year 1991 and first class in master degree from the University of Calcutta in the year 1993. He also obtained first class in M. Phil degree from the University of Burdwan. Dr. Bhunia obtained his Ph.D. on the title entitled “Liquidity Management of Public Sector Enterprises in India” from the University of Kalyani in January 6, 2006.
