Biographical Sketch:
Basu Sharma was born and raised in Nepal. He earned a Ph.D. degree from the University of Illinois in 1983. He is currently a professor of business policy, human resource management and e-business at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. He has been teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in business policy, compensation management, human resource management, negotiation and conflict resolution, strategic management, and global e-business strategies. He has also held faculty appointments at the University of Saskatchewan (Canada), the National University of Singapore, Sultan Qaboos University in the Sultanate of Oman, and Leon Kozminsky Academy of Entrepreneurship and Management in Warsaw, Poland. He has authored, co-authored, and edited over 60 publications including five books, a dozen book chapters, and 40 plus scholarly papers in peer-reviewed journals on a variety of topics. He edits the Journal of Comparative International Management. |
