He is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics and College Fellow. He was a visiting Professor at the Department of Economics, K.U. Leuven between Oct.1997-1999 and a Visiting Scholar, Economics Department, Harvard University between Sept 2002-2003. His professional activities include being a committee member of EARIE, Associate Editor of The Economic and Social Review, Editorial Board Economic Systems, Research Fellow, LICOS, Centre for Transition Economics, K.U. Leuven, Research Fellow, IZA, Bonn.
