I have also published 2 book chapters and 16 articles in applied trade theory. I have also published 17 articles on other topics, 7 nonrefereed articles, 12 book reviews, numerous instructor manuals, and a textbook in international economics going into its second edition. I have directed 9 PhD dissertations and those students are all in academic posts. I have given 29 seminars, made 37 professional presentations, taught 20 different economics courses, and actively referee for a dozen or so academic journals. I was the Treasurer of the International Economics and Finance Society from 1993 to2002 and edit the IEFS Newsletter emailed to over 1,300 economists worldwide.
