Previously he has been employed as Assistant Professor of Econometrics at the University of Antwerp for two years. He holds a Master of Science in Economics and Finance from the University of Barcelona Pompeu Fabra and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Rome La Sapienza. He has also worked at the Labor Markets Department of the Italian National Statistical Institute (ISTAT) and has been employed in the private and public sectors.
