Biographical Sketch:
David de la Croix (born 1964, PhD 1992) is Professor of Economics and member of both IRES and CORE at UCLouvain (Belgium). He has taught on a visiting basis at UCLA, Copenhagen, Aix-Marseille and Nanterre. His research interests cover growth theory, human capital, demographics, and overlapping generations. Working with some 37 co-authors, he has published over 60 research articles (including in journals such as American Economic Review, Journal of Economic Theory and Review of Economic Studies), and a treatise on Economic Growth co-authored with Philippe Michel. He has also written a number of policy briefs addressed to a more general audience. And he has supervised 12 doctoral dissertations. |
