Resende Filho is Professor of Economics at the University of Brasília (UnB), Brazil. His research interests include applied econometrics, causal inference, agricultural and environmental economics, and the economics of transportation and land use. His work combines econometric methods with structural causal analysis to investigate identification and policy-relevant questions, with particular emphasis on instrumental variables, panel-data methods, graphical causal models, and the economic effects of infrastructure and agricultural policies.
