Biographical Sketch:
Chan started his career as an academician in UCSI (2001-2003) before he served the International Medical University as Senior Data Analyst (2004-2006). He joined Multimedia University in 2006 and was awarded the Prime Minister's Perdana Research Fellowship (2009-2012). Chan is presently affiliated to the Graduate School of Business, Universiti Sains Malaysia. To date, Chan has 67 publications in scientific journals/ proceedings in the areas of applied econometrics, international finance and East Asian economics. Some of his recent publications include the Applied Economics(2011), Economics Bulletin (2012, 2011), Bulletin of Economic Research (2009), Applied Financial Economics (2008), Global Economic Review (2012, 2008), Japan and the World Economy (2006), Global Finance Journal (2005), and Journal of Medical Education (2008/09). Chan has also been a regular reviewer of international journals. |
