Biographical Sketch:
Evens Salies is doctor in economics (University of Perpignan,France) and has a post-doctorate from the City University of London (UK). His research interests include econometrics and microeconomics applied to network industries. He has worked as research associate for an ESRC project on electricity market deregulation in the UK at the Centre for Competition Policy of East Anglia University, where he also provided advices as consultant for Energywatch. Before joining the OFCE, Evens Salies was research assistant at the Groupe Réseaux Jean Monnet from the University of Paris-Sud XI (France). At OFCE, Evens Salies deals with economic and econometric issues related to innovation by electric utilities, the measure of the role of consumer switching cost on the level of competition in broadband Internet and electricity. He also conducted researches on energy saving. His current research interest is about causal inference in econometrics with applications to policy evaluation. |
