Professor of Economic Policy, University of Turin. He has extensively published on issues of comparative economic growth, economic development, labour economics and economic policy. Recents books: " L'Europa e l'economia mondiale" (Europe and the world economy), Carocci, Roma, 2002, "Politica economica. Introduzione all'economia dello sviluppo", Carocci, Roma, 2005.
