Biographical Sketch:
Currently an Associate Professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology, he received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Florida. Subsequently he taught at the University of Florida, Miami University, and was an Economist at the Antitrust Division, U.S. Department of Justice. Current research includes the impact of uncertainty on firms’ investment spending and entry and exit, technological change and industry dynamics, political economy of antitrust, and competition policy. His publications have appeared in the Journal of Industrial Economics, International Journal of Industrial Organization, Review of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, Economic Inquiry and Review of Industrial Organization. Member of the American Economic Association, Econometric Society, EARIE, and European Network on Industrial Policy. |
