Glenn Firebaugh is Roy C. Buck Professor of American Institutions and Professor of Sociology and Demography at Penn State University. He was Editor of the American Sociological Review from 1997-1999. His most recent books are Seven Rules for Social Research (Princeton, 2008) and The New Geography of Global Income Inequality (Harvard, 2003).
