Biographical Sketch:
Professor of Econometrics and Editor of the journals published by the Euro-American Association of Economic Development Studies. She is included in the ranking of Top 100 economists of the World, by number of readers, out of more than 60000 at Ideas. Repec, and is coordinator of a Blog of World Development with particular reference to Europe, North America and other OECD countries, and international cooperation for development. She was born in Coruna (Galicia, Spain, 1947) and is Graduate and Master in Economics (Bilbao, Spain, 1970), Doctor in Economics (Santiago de Compostela, USC, Spain, 1975). She is Professor of Applied Econometrics at the USC, and a very active researcher and Dissertations Advisor. She has published many papers and articles on international development, many of them available at Ideas.Repec.
