Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Martin Falk is senior research fellow at the Austrian Institute of Economic Research. His research interests are in the field of applied economics, in particular empirics of growth, empirical industrial labour and international economics and empirical studies on innovation. Dr. Falk has published papers in a number of academic journals, e.g. Scandinavian Journal of Economics, Labour Economics, Journal of Business and Economic Statistics and Economics of Innovation and New Technology. He graduated as Diplom-Volkswirt (i.e. master's degree) in 1995 and received a doctoral degree from the University of Regensburg. From 1996 to 2002 he was a research fellow at the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) in Mannheim (Germany). |
